Brian W. Taylor
Brian W. Taylor is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Horizon Lines, Inc. He also is responsible for the integration of enterprise sales and marketing strategies. Prior to this role, Mr. Taylor was head of International Services where he headed up the launch of the trans-pacific Five Star Express (FSX) Service between China and the U.S. West Coast. Mr. Taylor joined Sea-Land Service in 1984 as a Sales Representative in Montreal, Canada. Throughout his career with the company, he has assumed management positions in sales and operations in the U.S. and Asia, including General Manager, Buyers Consolidators LTD, based in Hong Kong and served as Vice President over multiple Horizon Lines’ business units including Hawaii, Guam, and logistics services. He received his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration in Economics and Financial Management from Concordia University. Mr. Taylor previously served on the board of the Carole Kai Charities, Inc., in Hawaii and serves as executive sponsor to the company’s Charlotte Volunteer Council.
