•
New Ships: We’ve built and deployed 5 new U.S. flag vessels to add capacity between the U.S. and Guam. These state-of-the art ships combine speed, energy efficiency and capacity for more than 1,400 forty-foot containers. We have the space for special handling, too - including over 500 refrigerated container slots and out-of-gauge flat racks.

Hunter Class • Built 2007 • U.S. Flag
2,824 TEUs • Speed 23 knots • Low-Sulphur Fuels
•
New Cranes: Three gantry cranes arrived in Guam in April of 2009 to replace smaller, less reliable units at the port. Added crane capacity and improved efficiency measures have been put in place in advance of the increased cargo volumes, to ensure smooth deliveries for commercial and military customers alike.
• New Containers and Flat Racks: Since 2007, Horizon Lines has taken delivery of over 4,000 units of new container and flat rack equipment to safely and securely transport your valuable goods. Click here for more on

•
First Arrival into Guam: the speed and efficiency of the new ships, coupled with the best operations team in the business gives Horizon Lines’ customers the first arrival into Guam each week. The ship arrives overnight Monday, with cargo made available for pick-up on Tuesday mornings, as early as 8:00am. Customers tell us it’s the optimal schedule for deliveries for both retail and construction businesses.
