Horizon Lines is celebrating 50 years of dedicated service to the people of Puerto Rico. We are proud to announce that we have successfully incorporated two of our younger, larger vessels into the Puerto Rico trade. The Horizon Trader and Horizon Navigator deliver more flexibility to our customers. Our investment in these ships means improved capacity for 45ft dry and 40ft refrigerated containers and more availability for hazardous cargo.
Horizon Lines offers the most comprehensive service package to Puerto Rico, with two direct weekly sailings from Jacksonville, one weekly sailing from Elizabeth, NJ, and the only direct vessel call to the U.S. Gulf with service from Houston every fourteen days.
Our Jacksonville Express service (JAX) provides the fastest northbound transit from San Juan. JAX service cargo is available in Jacksonville on Monday mornings; to make intermodal connections to U.S. Southeast and MidWest locations.
