Horizon Lines partnered in an $18M project to help deliver 3 refurbished port cranes to Apra Harbor in April 2009, a necessary investment to support Guam's growth. These cranes provide for improved cargo capacity throughput and overall operational efficiency. The cranes compliment the $280M investment Horizon Lines made in deploying 5 newly built U.S. flag vessels in the Transpacific Service (TP1) to Guam in 2007. Investment is an important component to our promise to be 'always there, always delivering.'
