Hurricane Sandy – Update 6 and Vessel & Terminal Updates
Dear Valued Customer:
Hurricane Sandy remains active in the Atlantic and is expected to intersect with a southbound cold front on Monday resulting in a “Frankenstorm” resulting in large amounts of snow during the coming days.
As a precautionary measure in anticipation of the storm, APM terminals in Elizabeth, NJ will be closed on Monday, October 29th.
Horizon Producer voyage PD721S en route from Jacksonville to San Juan is making expected speed and will start cargo operations as announced at 1:00PM on Monday, October 29th.
Horizon Trader voyage TO486S en route from Elizabeth to San Juan is making better than expected speed and is on track to start cargo operations at 10:00AM Tuesday, October 30th.
All other voyages are expected to remain on-schedule.
