Subtropical Storm Beryl – Initial Update
Dear Valued Customer:
Subtropical Storm Beryl has formed off the coast of the Southeastern U.S. Beryl is the 2nd named storm of the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane season.
Currently, Subtropical Storm Beryl is approximately 330 miles East-Northeast of Jacksonville, FL moving Southwest at 6 MPH. Maximum sustained winds are 45 MPH.
The Port of Jacksonville has upgraded their status to Condition X-ray, which means that the port is in a state of readiness.
At this time, Horizon does not anticipate any disruptions to our vessel schedules. We will update our customer base with any information that could affect our operations as a result of this storm.
