PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Horizon Challenger voyage CN517N Delayed into Houston – Update 2
Dear Valued Customer:
The second Tropical Depression of the year (TD2) has formed in the gulf and is causing continued rough weather in the Houston Ship Channel. Pilots are not expected to be able to board the Horizon Challenger today due to high winds and waves resulting from the storm.
Based on this further weather delay, we now anticipate starting cargo at 1PM tomorrow, Friday, July 9th.
We will send a third update if our anticipated start time changes.
As information to our southbound customers, we do not expect any delay to our San Juan arrival next week as a result of this storm.
Horizon Lines is aware of the effects that arrival delays have on our customers’ operations and will make every reasonable effort to ensure that effects from these delays are minimized.
If you have any questions concerning this schedule, please contact your Horizon Lines Sales Representative or Customer Service at 1-877-678-7447.
Thank you for choosing Horizon Lines – Always There, Always Delivering ®
