PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Hacienda & Department of Agriculture Closures
Dear Valued Customer:
The Hacienda office in Puerto Rico will be closed on Thursday, April 1st and Friday, April 2nd, 2010. Please send submit documentation as soon as possible in order to process the bills of lading.
For customers that submit documentation electronically, Hacienda will accept electronic transmissions all day Thursday and Saturday morning.
If any cargo is marked as taxable, customers will have to wait until Monday to declare cargo with Hacienda in order to get cargo released.
The Puerto Rico Department of Agriculture (PRDA) will be open on Thursday, April 1st for normal operations, but will be closed on Friday, April 2nd.
