Maersk Line New Chassis Business Model
Dear Valued Customer:
Maersk Line has recently announced a new program, “ChassisLink” that offers use of their chassis to draymen, ocean carriers, marine terminals and railroads at a fee.
We want to clarify that Horizon Lines customers will not incur Maersk charges for any Horizon moves that utilizes a Maersk chassis. Horizon Lines has made direct arrangements with Maersk to cover the cost of utilizing Maersk chassis for Horizon cargo.
