HAWAII SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Fuel Surcharge Reduction – from 19.50% to 15%



Dear Valued Customer,


Horizon Lines is reducing the Fuel Adjustment Factor in the Hawaii trade by 4.5 percentage points from 19.50% to 15% effective November 30th, 2008. The reduced Fuel Adjustment Factor has been filed with the Surface Transportation Board and covers Horizon Lines tariffs 468 and 201. These tariffs govern shipments moving between the continental U.S. and Hawaii.

Horizon Lines will continue to closely monitor fuel costs and will adjust the Fuel Surcharge as trends warrant.
