Dear Valued Customer:
Horizon Lines of Alaska has filed today with the Surface Transportation Board to increase the fuel surcharge as specified in Rule 339 of our Alaska tariffs 301, 314, 453, 313, 318 and 462 from 12.5% to 14.5%. The effective date for this increase is May 31, 2009.
We will continue to monitor fuel price trends and adjust the fuel
surcharge accordingly.
