PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Hurricane Alex –Update #2
Dear Valued Customer:
Hurricane Alex has officially been named the first hurricane of the 2010 season.
The hurricane is moving in a west northwest direction towards the coast of Mexico at 7 MPH. Maximum wind speeds are up to 80 MPH.
Hurricane warnings are now in effect from Baffin Bay, Texas south to La Cruz, Mexico. Heavy rain is expected in the United States that could bring potential flooding. Rainfall of 6 to 12 inches is possible from Corpus Christi west to Laredo and south to the Rio Grande River through Thursday.
Horizon Lines does not anticipate any delays to the Horizon Challenger, voyage CN517S.
