PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Horizon Lines Vessel Deployment Update
Dear Valued Customer:
The Horizon Navigator will be undergoing maintenance for the next several weeks. In order to service the trade in the most efficient and effective manner, we are making several changes to our vessel schedules. Immediate changes for this week and next are as follows. Further changes will be indicated in our published vessel schedules.
The Horizon Producer will move into the Northeast service with voyage PD729N departing San Juan to Elizabeth. Northbound cutoff for this voyage is advanced to Friday, 12/28 at 6:00PM. Cargo will be made available in Elizabeth Friday, 1/4.
The Horizon Discovery will move into the Gulf service with voyage DI647N departing San Juan to Houston. Northbound cutoff for this voyage is extended to Monday, 12/31 at 4:00PM. Cargo will be made available in Houston Monday, 1/7.
There are no immediate changes to our Jacksonville service; the Horizon Trader will continue to serve the Jacksonville market this week and next.
Existing bookings will be automatically rolled to the proper voyages today and tomorrow; updated booking confirmations will be sent to you when these changes are complete.
We are aware of the effects that schedule changes have on your operations and will make every reasonable effort to ensure these effects are minimized. We will continue to provide timely and accurate updates on information that may affect your shipments.
