PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tropical Storm Sandy – Initial Update
Dear Valued Customer:
Tropical Storm Sandy has been identified by the National Hurricane Center as the 19th named storm of the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane season.
The center of the storm is currently located approximately 300 miles South-Southwest of Jamaica and stationary. Maximum sustained winds are 40MPH.
Sandy has potential to disrupt service toward the end of this week in the shipping lanes between the Continental US and Puerto Rico, but at this time, we are not anticipating any changes to our vessel or terminal schedules. We will continue to monitor the storm and will provide updates as necessary to the trade.
