Tropical Storm Maria – Update 10 – Vessel Schedule Update
Dear Valued Customer:
Tropical Storm Maria has passed north of Puerto Rico and is projected to go back out into the Atlantic Ocean. All tropical storm warnings are no longer in effect.
As a result of the path of the storm, the Horizon Navigator voyage NV489S and the Horizon Trader voyage TO440S changed course to safely route around the storm.
Horizon Navigator voyage NV489S Update:
• At this time, we expect to start vessel discharge at 7 PM on today, September 12th.
• In order to mitigate the effects of this delay, Horizon Lines will be extending gate hours till 10 PM on today, September 12th for all dispatch and receiving activities.
Horizon Trader voyage TO440S Update:
• At this time, we expect to start vessel discharge at 8 AM on tomorrow, Tuesday September 13th.
Horizon Lines is aware of the effects that arrival delays due to tropical cyclones have on our customers’ operations and will make every reasonable effort to ensure that effects from these delays are minimized.
