Dear Valued Customer:
Horizon Producer voyage PD619S was able to make up time en-route to San Juan last night due to performance of ship and crew. She will arrive earlier than announced yesterday and will begin operations at 11:00AM this morning.
As of this time, there are no other significant changes to our previously announced schedules.
Horizon Trader voyage TO387N en-route from San Juan to Jacksonville, FL will begin cargo operations early this afternoon in Jacksonville.
Horizon Trader voyage TO387S will depart Jacksonville tonight for a Monday arrival in San Juan. Monday evening the Trader will depart San Juan for Elizabeth, NJ on voyage TO388N.
Horizon Navigator voyage NV436N en-route to Elizabeth, NJ continues to tail Hurricane Earl and we still expect to work the vessel either Saturday night or Sunday morning in Elizabeth; returning the ship as quickly as possible to San Juan.
Storm conditions continue to be uncertain in the Atlantic. Horizon Lines would like to encourage customers with the option to move cargo early to do so aboard our vessels to ensure best availability at destination. We pride ourselves on accurately communicating storm conditions and recovery plans; we will continue to do so as more information becomes available.
