PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tropical Storm Isaac - Update 4
Dear Valued Customer:
The Port of San Juan remains closed to all inbound vessel traffic under port condition Yankee. Horizon Lines’ San Juan terminal is currently open for all receiving and dispatch activities.
Puerto Rico is currently under a Tropical Storm Warning which means that Tropical Storm conditions are expected within 36 hours. Tropical Storm Isaac is currently 225 miles South-southeast of San Juan moving West at 13MPH. Maximum sustained wind speeds are 40MPH.
Horizon Challenger voyage CN573S from Houston has been delayed on arrival due to the port closure. At this time, we do not have an indication of when the port will reopen.
Horizon Discovery voyage DI628S from Jacksonville remains scheduled for an on-time arrival Friday, but is similarly dependent on the port re-opening to vessel traffic.
Customers are encouraged to furnish freight to Horizon Lines as early as possible in order to ensure any effects this storm has on their supply chains are minimized.
Horizon Lines will provide further updates to the trade as more information becomes available.
If you have any questions, please contact your Horizon Lines Sales Representative
or Customer Service at 1-877-678-7447.
Thank you for choosing Horizon Lines. Always There. Always Delivering.®
