Tropical Storm Dorian – Update 2
Dear Valued Customer:
At 11:00 AM EST, T.S. Dorian’s center was located near Latitude 17.7° north, Longitude 43.5° west. It remains disorganized while moving quickly, near 21 MPH. A turn toward the west and an increase in forward speed are expected during the next 48 hours. At the time of the National Weather Service’s 11:00 AM advisory, NO coastal watches or warnings entered into effect. “Some weakening is forecasted for the next day or so.”
Horizon Lines continues to monitor closely the trajectory of this storm in anticipation of any disruption to our normal schedules. Our terminal operations in San Juan, Jacksonville and Philadelphia so far continue as planned. We anticipate that we will be receiving advisories and instructions from the US Coast Guard this weekend regarding our port in San Juan.
We will continue to update our customer base with any information that could affect our operations as a result of this storm.
If you have any questions, please contact your Horizon Lines Sales Representative or Customer Service at 1-877-678-7447.
