PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tropical Depression Beryl – Update #3
Dear Valued Customer:
Beryl’s storm classification has been changed to Tropical Depression. All Tropical Storm warnings have been discontinued.
Currently, Subtropical Storm Beryl is approximately 100 miles West-Northwest of Jacksonville, FL moving West-Northwest at 6 MPH. Maximum sustained winds are 35 MPH.
The US Coast Guard has reopened the St. John's River to vessel traffic. The Horizon Discovery DI616N is scheduled to make an on time arrival at the dock in Jacksonville tomorrow, Tuesday, May 29th, 2012.
Due to the shortened holiday week and the potential for increased truck traffic at the port, we encourage customers to furnish all southbound cargo as early as possible.
At this time, Horizon does not anticipate any disruptions to our vessel schedules. We will update our customer base with any information that could affect our operations as a result of this storm.
